  • The World of Men - Men's Rights / MGTOW / Sites of Interest to Men

    Hello,

I have been thinking for awhile that one of the things that would be useful to have is a "Compendium", of sorts, of links, referrals, reviews, and opinions of sites which fall into one of these various categories (feel free to suggest others):

    -- Men's Rights / Men's Issues

-- MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way)

    -- Anti-Feminism

-- Sites of General Interest to Men

    -- Anti-Male Sites

The point being to assemble and curate a collection of links and "jumping off points" for people who are interested in Men's Rights or any of the respective topics for further study, education, or just leisure and entertainment. I personally think this would be a valuable addition to the main AVFM site, but that's their call to make.

My feeling here is that Men need to be informed about what is happening, but also to learn about links to places they might just *enjoy* going-- as Men-- to do Manly things, think Manly thoughts, and not worry so much what the wimmyns think...

So, if you know of any sites of interest to Men and Men's Rights / Men's Issues, please share them!!

    Mr. E

MR. E, I can't say enough for what you are doing with this.

Since I've been here at AFVM, I've wanted to create something in the form of a website or online magazine to serve as a
MRM Library. A place where a link could be posted to but Feminist (and other moron's) couldn't post "bytch fest" about it.
A place where if a MRA were to post a link on other message boards about the internet it could spread the word that there
is a growing awareness of how men are growing tired of "what so many women have become", and have realized that their
past stance of suffering it with the means that Chivalry teaches them is futile and should be extinct. Just as Esther Vilar
pointed out in the 1960's. (in her book "The Manipulated Male)

I would propose a website titled, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and an online Magazine from ISSUU com. Let sites like AVFM and other boards etc AEFM be an incubator for links like those you posted above....but not to MRM boards as such.

Here is a page in a Portal Site with a bunch of links to illustrate what I'm talking about:

Thanks for the encouragement and support!

This is something I've been wanting to see on AVFM for a long time now. I've actually asked the leadership there if I could do it officially but so far I haven't heard anything back. So I finally decided I would just start doing it here in the forums and see how it goes. Feel free to let me know about any links, sites, articles, etc. that you think ought to be up here. I'm going to be a tiny bit pickier about articles that I add to the list, but my main reason is because I'm wanting to avoid topical / in-the-news type articles. But they can still be posted here in the comments.

This is a promissing initiative and I think a hyper text web page rather than a blog style forum would be the appropriate medium.

A while back, I too was think of doing a web page indexing anti-feminist/manosphere on my own website, but I quickly realized there are just too many to make it practical, especially when you get to things like individual Youtube channels, Wordpress sites, blogs and Facebook groups.

So my thoughts had been to make a page identifying organizations with a description of what each one is about.
It should include link(s) to their web presence.

Then for individuals it could list channels by topic, but it would require people to be maintain it. Some people have many interests yet those reading are probably not so much interested in the individual, but in the topic. So I thought it should be self managing. Get the individual activists to post links to their latest work in an appropriate topic. I experimented with using a Google+ group that anyone interested can follow, for a topic that interests me, but nobody else has wanted to post. Maybe it would work for something more prominent like men's right issues, father's rights... family courts...

p.s. OTOH I created a Facebook group with the intention of providing links to anti-feminist articles and that simply gets too many posts to be able to follow them all, hence maybe the need to make separate more specific feeds.

I would actually like to do a page or a set of pages. I have written to Paul Elam and the folks at AVFM a couple of times with the suggestion to do it, as well as volunteer some time to get it going and update it. My thought was to just get it started and see if it could morph into something that Paul and AVFM would like to include in the main site.

I would also like it a lot if other people could help add links too. And not just to "Men's Rights" issues and subjects, but of all kinds of articles and topics of interest to men in hopes that we could spend less time talking about women and the needs of women and women this, women that, women women women-- and just be men. You know, think manly thoughts and talk about man stuff. And of course men's rights and issues too.

Men are more than simply aggrieved persons. We have whole lives and spirits and wonderful characters which is being lost and ground under the new "Feminist" regime. It's time to stick our middle finger up at Feminists and Feminism and tell 'em all to go FUCK themselves.

So I'm hopeful that folks will want to help me with articles that they (men) find interesting. It's okay if women who support men also post articles and things of interest. The idea is to make it man-centric though so that it isn't just another thing that Feminists swoop in and try to take away / control.

Shoey is so awesome, she's hilarious. Good ol' Boxey. Such a long time ago... Milo though, a more recent and well-known celebrity both online and in the mainstream. What a legend. I don't agree with ALL of his stances, but seems like a bloody genius for the most part, and his entire lack of fucks to give is outstanding. Yeah, the 'I love black dick' schtick was getting a TOUCH old, but he just doesn't give a damn what comes out of his mouth. Reportedly tries fucking a girl every few months just to 'double-check' if he's gay, as it were. If that's true, then perhaps a bit more "bi-male leaning" rather than full-on gay. So fucking funny how he happily accepts being called a faggot. I mean, he even named one of his tours "The Great Faggot Tour" or some such thing, which is hysterical. A shame about one of his shows being cancelled due to the childish Left protesting.

"The Fascists of the future will claim to be anti-Fascists." - Sir Winston Churchill.

Might have slightly para-phrased there, but you get the jist. Seems like a great collection of info though.

The only think I can think of to link is a few of my books that portray feminists being 'raped', a young woman who has a rape fetish, a bad marriage with potential tips on how to give yourself financial protection, and the like. Honestly though, I've done enough shilling in the past couple days, TOO much shilling. If you end up checking out the books and think they're MGTOW-worthy, then you can link them here yourself if you like. Um... OH! Terrence Popp! Dude's a fucking LEGEND! Well actually he's not, only like 32,000 subscribers and he seems to be stuck at that many even though his vids are AMAZING!

                      https://www.youtube.com/user/redonkulaspopp

He's red-pilled as fuck, been put through the wringer, his wife killed his own fucking dog (I think while he was deployed), he's a US Army veteran who has seen three wars and been wounded in two, did the Ranger training, did he mentioned that he was a Navy Seal? Can't remember, but he's done a fuckton of training and still works out regularly. Pushing 50, I hear his target audience is mostly men my age. Young punks in our 20s, maybe early 30s who are still learning and late teens who haven't even gotten started in life. Help us learn from his mistakes. Says if he can save just ONE dude from experiencing what he has, then it has been worth it, and it's indeed saving dudes. I'm pretty much one of them, even though I was basically going MGTOW before I even knew what MGTOW was.

Anyways, if you want a good laugh with some rather crude humour, and an overdose of honesty no matter how harsh, then definitely check him out. He's also written some books (even though he's dyslexic... don't know how that works), and have written some poems over the years surprisingly enough. Doesn't seem like the poem type of guy, but honestly, some of them are pretty badass. There's YEARS of content there, so definitely check him out. Oh yeah, and on the matter of Army vs Marines and what not, he's stated a couple times that pound-for-pound, a Marine Private fresh out of basic training is a better-trained soldier than an Army Private fresh out of basic training. Even though he himself is Army. The dude seems quite legit, and unbiased. I can respect that.

Oh, and I've got a start made on my 7th book after a pleasant 3 days or so of resting my noodle... that sounds more vulgar than I meant it, but anyways, looks like the Living amongst the Dead trilogy will become a quadrilogy. We'll see how long it takes. I'm typically good for pumping out a book a month, though I might take my time a bit more with this one. I also don't know what to call it yet since I don't want to simply number my books; I'll figure something out as I write, probably.

Edit: His latest vid is a great one to start with, a vid we've been waiting for for a long time. He pulls no punches and tells the bitches EXACTLY where the good men have gone...

                      https://youtu.be/7MVa9lHes98

Protip: We're MGTOW. THAT'S where the good men have gone

                        Here's a few

College: Women's Studies Department, Safe Spaces, Trigger Warnings, Micro-Aggressions, Censorship:

                        * Title IX: Laura Kipnis - just Google her, she's leading efforts to try and grapple with the Title IX Kangaroo courts set up in Colleges.

                        * National Women's Studies Association - body overseeing University accreditation (I think) for women's studies programs.

                        * In College and Hiding From Scary Ideas. Brilliant NYT article illustrating what's happening on college campuses nowadays and the weird reasoning they use, censorship and 'thoughts and ideas are too scary' going on. Conflation of objective, educational spaces with therapeutic spaces.

                        * Real Peer Review: Tragically humorous Twitter account to collate and highlight the nonsense "scholarly" crap coming out of Women's and Gender Studies departments.

                        * The Factual Feminist: Christina Hoff Sommers - former philosophy professor now at an independent research institute. Long-time advocate against campus feminism and discrimination against boys.

                        * No Campus for White Men: The Transformation of Higher Education into Hateful Indoctrination - Camille Paglia

                        * The Campus Rape Frenzy: This book uses hard facts to set the record straight. It explores, among other things, about two dozen of the many cases since 2010 in which innocent or probably innocent students have been branded as sex criminals and expelled or otherwise punished by their colleges. And it shows why all students—and, eventually, society as a whole—are harmed when our nation’s universities abandon pursuit of truth and seek instead to accommodate the passions of the mob. (I love that: "the passions of the mob").

                        * Cultural Marxism and "useful idiots" w/ Duke Pesta and Stefan Molyneux. YouTube video. Good discussion between them. See/start @ around minute 11 if TL;DR.

Thank you for this great thread Mr. E.

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned insideMAN. It kind of falls under all your categories Mr E. It's a website/magazine co-founded by men's rights activist and journalist Glen Poole. It is very active with a ton of articles about issues affecting men written by leading thinkers and members of the site. I cannot recommend this website enough!!!!! You can sign up to it and get updates of its latest posts by email. It deserves all the support it can get.

                          http://www.inside-man.co.uk

Some recent articles from the website:

                          - "BBC comedy chat show mocks male victim of domestic violence and gives ‘Mammy of the Week’ award to his abuser"

                          http://www.inside-man.co.uk/2017/05/...-award-abuser/

                          - "A day in the life fighting to bring down the barriers to boys’ education"

                          http://www.inside-man.co.uk/2017/03/...oys-education/

Glen Poole, I honestly cannot praise this man enough for what he is doing and what he has done for men. His work is truly amazing. He's the Malcolm X of the men's rights movement. Not many people know about him within the MHRM which is a huge shame. He is a great voice for men's rights. He's written some of the most amazing, most insightful articles I have ever read for some of the leading newspapers in this country.

I am just going to quote a passage from one of his articles if I may. Its taken from an article that he wrote on domestic violence against men for The Guardian of all newspapers.

"Our cultural understanding of gender is shaped by a relentless, binary narrative that maintains our unconscious, collective belief that men are problems and women have problems. It’s a cultural meme that seems to have taken up permanent residence in the mindsets of both social conservatives and progressive liberals. Traditionalists think men should protect women and children from the unpleasantness of the manmade world, while progressives think women and children should be protected from men and their patriarchy.

There is little room for the female perpetrator or the male victim in mainstream modern discourse around gender. It’s a story where there are only two major roles on offer to men – the unhealthy masculine perpetrator or the healthy masculine protector."

This site placed on the forums by Equity should go on the list: http://www.childsupportreformnow.com/

Plenty of data and information about the impact on children.
