    Hi,

the feminists in the, regrettably, left-side Labour party take the Conservatives in government to task for blocking a man quota at the 90 % female psychology faculty:
    https://www.nrk.no/hordaland/beskyld...ing-1.13370408

" Accuses government of being too slow to introduce quota
Universities may not have a man quota, because the government claims it contravenes the Equality Act.
    - Nonsense to use this law as an excuse, the Labour Party answers.

At /several/ psychology faculties ... there is a strong majority of female students.
Last year the/se/ universities sought permission to introduce a quota system in order to recruit more men.

Wednesday, NRK reported this had recently been denied by the Ministry of Education (KD).
The reason is that the Ministry of Children and Equality when asked about the matter, responded that such a quota would be contrary to law.

    A memo from KD states:
"The Ministry has therefore been in contact with the Ministry of Children and Equality which has stated that it is not in accordance with current legislation on equality to support men to the same extent as women."

    - To say that this is not allowed, is simply nonsense. There is nothing in the Equality Act which prevents the government from trying to get more men into female-dominated studies, says family political spokeswoman Anette Trettebergstuen (Ap).
She claims it is wrong that the law must be changed in order to have a man quota in female-dominated faculties, pointing out that it is an instrument recently used to get more men into kindergartens. ...."

The Ministry of Children and Equality is a bastion of opposition, of course, but it's nice to see feminists actually fighting for equality - on behalf of men.

I guess because it's apt: this is girl-on-girl.
