They are far more subtle about it though, not as in your face as Xena, they distract you with flashy explosions and technobabble all the the while slowly brainwashing you, very sinister.
It was a bit wasn't it. I too was a big trekkie fan of the original series. There was a lot of stuff social justice type stuff in it. But this was before socjus and SJW's and around a period when civil liberty and equality of opportunity were the objective. After that in effect won, then the other nonsense started in the later trek series which pretty much went the path of middle class moralising and preaching of left wing fantasy ethics.

However from the original series you do have this classic of marxism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cloud_Minders

Worth digging up, the plot review misses out the stand out feature which were Spock's thought soliloquy and monologues. Blatant and stand out political alignment in those, which went beyond the usual acceptance and harmony tones, and the function of developing the plot. A very odd episode.

its been going on for decades
theyve created a religion of sorts
except the commandments and scrolls were cartoon.

they showed the boys why theyre corrupt, flawed, and evil...and then also showed how to redeem themselves from that despair

thats why the brain dead zomboys amongst us 'need' feminism too

without it they end up the living embodiment of an evil cartoon caricature

where's my oxyGum...must. kill. the. patriarchy (dunno if you ever saw Marine Boy)
