In Mexico, they do have co-ed Scouts. The one association I camped with taught the men to help the girls when it was too much for them. When they camped, they put the boys tents around the girls tents for protection.

I cannot speak for Boy Scouts of Mexico. A neighbor girl used to post on Facebook, including photos on top of the mountain Sleeping Woman, not Popo. And, there was snow there. I do not know if she got help or not.

I need to ask her when she comes back. She got a work permit this tourist season at a tourist place mountains of New York State.
