  • Hello! from MS

So it took a little while, but i'm glad to be able to post this now.
I'm from Mississippi. More or less I've thought like one of those skeptic youtubers (the ones against/skeptical of feminism) for years before I even saw them on YT. I've always kind of figured the 3rd wave was more for superiority instead of equality. I did recently get banned or something from one of their facebook pages for some shenanigans though. Having a differing opinion I think it was?
    Anyway..

I've got to tell you that I finally watched The Red Pill (in May I believe). Its made me think things about being a man I've never even considered was an issue. Like it was just an unavoidable part of life I may eventually need to deal with.

The most I connect with, because of growing up in MS, is the domestic violence and parts relating to Family Court.
It made me realize that in MS the "good 'ole boy" will almost never admit to being beat by his gf/wife and must "just deal with it/ man up" if she gets pregnant.
These haven't personally happened to me but I notice it going on now around here.

Anyway I'm rambling. So again, Thanks to Cassie Jaye, Paul Elam, and the others involved. Hope to talk with everyone sooner or later.
Trey from Mississippi says "ayyyyy what up?"

    hello and welcome

the red pill metaphor speaks of all the things youve come up against. the gynocentric nature of our society is what the red pill is all about. so it seems you're starting a journey down the rabbit hole yourself.

Welcome to the forums Trey. I hope you find this an interesting, challenging and enjoyable place to engage in conversation about the myriad of manosphere issues. It's a very open minded forum, all sorts of issues and news are put up for discussion, including a lot of subjects that have become silenced and ignored in society.

Ideologies based on denigration of males are pushing forward a lot of changes that have nothing to do with a democratic response to corruption and injustice and everything to do with opportunistic manipulators grabbing money and power. MHRM has never demanded a social reversal or blocked any attempts to provide safety, fairness and justice to women, it's only spoken up when measures taken were blatantly abused and the worst of all situations was already happening - innocent men convicted or having lives destroyed by false accusations and good fathers removed from the lives of their children. Things have got systematically worse with a concerted effort to make boys and young men second class participants in education and following up the removal of fathers with mental and physical abuse of children.

I look forward to reading your posts. Hopefully a lot more men and women will start coming forward and participating, in this forum and more importantly in many other places.

        Hello,

        Welcome to the Forums.

I hope you will take some time and go read through the articles posted and archived on the "AVoiceForMen.com" main site. There are lots of good articles written by a multitude of people with good thoughts, viewpoints, and solid arguments. I have always found the links and supporting documents to be well-grounded, well-researched and both germane end pertinent. Perhaps you will too.

              Hi Trey. welcome
"Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one" - Charles Mackay

And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee. - Donne

"What we are seeing in this headless misandry is a grand display of the Tyranny of the Underdog: 'I am a wretchedly longstanding victim; therefore I own no burden of adult accountability, nor need to honor any restraint against my words and actions. In fact, all efforts to restrain me are only further proof of my oppressed condition.'
"It is the most perfect trump-card against accountable living ever devised." - Gladden Schrock

"What remains for most men in modern life is a world of expectation without reward, burden without honor and service without self" - Paul Elam
