I'll gladly take my share of the blame.

In the other hand... I don't regret any of it...
For the record, I regret and take back saying you don't like poetry. I meant you don't require it in the thread.
You quote so many poets, I'm sure you like anchovies, too ...
That aside, thx for some enjoyable hours.

As the moderator is issuing "fair warnings" and the so... I'd say it is time to split.
Probably a wise decision; I'd hate to have to count you among los disparacidos.

See you in the next one.

Well I don't know how to answer to this lines... on the present state of this debate...

I am sure I will be accused of accusing you of something If I even try to...

So... no answer to this lines... I guess...

Because "humanitarians" want to open the floodgates to every violent predator on the planet and then be like "violence is a function of class and wealth."

    And that's why Israel's a fuckin mess.

The Hebrew humanitarians were forced to build walls and practice apartheid. Why?

Because their rose colored glasses got broken in a street fight.

I love the whole humanitarian thing, I'm a hippy at heart.

Then again... I better avoid answering this...

But if I'm in someone else's house and they don't want me there, I leave.

I don't wait for them to get the kitchen knives and masking tape and throw me out.

I know their house is real comfy.
I might as well take your wisdom here, and follow your advise...

But I have enough pride to build my own, even if it's just a shack in the beginning.

I never stole from nobody, I don't need your house, your daughter or your money.
One time I stole something... it is a very interesting and kind of fun story... but if I tell you about it that would be like derailing my own threat.. so maybe in another location...

There is enough space on planet Earth to build a shack anywhere.

It doesn't have to be in California or fucking Belgium.

There is no magic water in Europe that makes people rich.

The only magic water is elbow grease and a little bit of brains, you can make the desert bloom, you can turn Somalia into fucking Sweden.
    No, you can't.

But not if the locals are busy launching RPG's at each other and ripping off telephone wire.

You can't do anything with crappy people.
At least this time you had the sensitivity to now claim that this is because their genetic makeup...

I don't give a crap about "white pride."

Yes. Amazingly, they managed for centuries with 12 laws, inscribed on bronze tablets in the Forum for eveyone to read.
The chief virtue was "fides", "(good) faith", i.e. the intention to fulfill the spirit of the law, not just obey its letter only.
The latter is what gives us e.g. the evolutionary arms race between corporate tax lawyers and government tax legislators.
When the Romans lost their faith in fides, suddenly there appeared "advocates", lawyers, which the Romans took as a certain sign
of the decline of morality and the end of the world as they knew it.
They missed by a few centuries, but it turned out to be true in the end.
I don't really know the historical facts... but I still will make the argument that "advocates" appear, when they started to toy with philosophy...

Probably their first legal case was on the lines of a student of philosophy that refused to pay his teacher:

The student would argue: "If I win this case then I win, but if I lose, it shall be evidence of how badly he teached me hence I shall not pay"

The master would have replied: "If you lose then you pay me, but if you win that shall be evidence of how well I teached you, so you shall pay me"...

Yes. I know you are busy fighting a five-front keyboard war, but it has to be said, it helps to keep track of what was said and why.
The starting point was your "fundamental reasons why socialist governments turn into the oppressive monsters they do... ".
When it comes to _fundamental_ reasons, my money is on Kant; the ability to formulate laws is secondary at best in that regard.
I'm pretty sure Stain had people draw up pretty nicely constructed laws.
Yeah... I probably have too many balls on the air at this moment... going to cut it down a tad...

    Yeah, you do that.
It has got nothing to do with our discussion, though; there it's just an irrelevant sidetrack.
Sometimes I enjoy the sidetracks way too much...

Haha, John Godfrey Saxe ... "Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made."
Idk if Saxe was wise, but he could be funny. I know you don't like poetry, but I'll append one useful poem of his below.
When I say a "wise man", or any form of it, it is usually because I don't know who said it... or even worse... nobody knows who said it...

And about poetry... I don't know why people like it so much... must be an acquired taste... like anchovies. It is disgusting, but if you try it so many times eventually you will think it is not that bad...

About your poem... I think in the cavern myth Plato also mention elephants... there must be something particularly... metaphysical about this animal for it to be the center of such kind of stories.

How on earth do you manage that? They don't even write with the same alphabet.

    M
I pay more attention to what they do and not what is their names... so For instance, if one of them is the god of commerce, to pick an example... I am not so interested in the fact that in one place they name him Mercury, and the other place they name him Hermes... I am interested in the nature of the commerce he does... between men and gods... he carries "messages", but being a merchant he must carried other goods, as well... Then my wild imagination tries to imagine what possible goods and services we humans can offer to the gods... and what kind of goods and services the gods will use as means of payment... in the middle of this commerce between gods and men is this guy... That I don't really care how they name him here or there... but I am fascinated on what he does, and how this messenger/merchant service actually works.

Oh, I think Iceland comes pretty close, and Estonia, and Denmark used to be. For instance.
Us Polars have Saami people here, too, but if it wasn't for that ...
I think there is a difference between a white nation and a nation with white population.

Just nippin' by to say that yes, AFAIK, "ethnic cleansing" is kinda off the table, policy-wise, for any proper, housebroken politician.

    M
Going back to the point I made few pages back.. ones we agree that the problem is an ethnical group... then we are left with some few solutions... none of them pretty...

Saying... it is an ugly reality so we doing an ugly solution... does not really cut it for me... I think we can do better.

trying to create one will mean to, at least, push some people out of their homes into the neighboring countries... Nobody have the right to carve a parcel on the land make some claims that it is a white nation and then go full violence on the non-whites there, just in order to materialize this idea of a white nation... nobody have the right to do that.

//What is this 'parcel'? A plot of land? A rectangle drawn on the ground?
In EN, I think it means "a package" (like you get in the mail)//
    //Sorry!//

The romans would talk about the body of the law and the spirit of the law...
Yes. Amazingly, they managed for centuries with 12 laws, inscribed on bronze tablets in the Forum for eveyone to read.
The chief virtue was "fides", "(good) faith", i.e. the intention to fulfill the spirit of the law, not just obey its letter only.

and over the law there is justice... justice always prevail, even above the law... if you have a particular case where applying the law will result in injustice, then.. pretty much ignore what the law says and do the just thing to do... they being Romans have latin words for it:
    "summum ius summa iniuria"
Yup, that's Cicero, by the way; and he was one of those lawyers hell-bent on twisting the law to the last letter to achieve power.
Want to read a hate speech? Read Cicero's on Catilina.
Quo usque tandem, Catilina, abutere patientia nostra, and so on; famous for its oratory and legal infamy.
Another possible political trajectory there, btw.

OK there is a confusion here...

when I talk about the positivity of the the law... I am not talk about a moral good, or a spiritual value... I am talking about the form of the law...
    Yeah, you do that.
It has got nothing to do with our discussion, though; there it's just an irrelevant sidetrack.

The law does not tell you to do or not to things, it is not a moral compass...
Matter of opinion; vide Hegel (but not now).

the law tells you that if you do certain things you will get punish...
    Yes.
And what I am talking about is the list of _which certain things_ it is useful (or even possible) to turn into law, and which not.
A very different discussion than _how_ to turn it into law.

Anyway, a wise man ones said:
People must never know how the sausages and the laws are made...
Haha, John Godfrey Saxe ... "Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made."

    The weather?
Just ask the folks in Atlantis

Well people should really pay a good close look to what is goign on with their pensions... Now they are offering the option that you can invest in real state.. to bring some stability to the portfolio they say... so people put down some percentage of their pension on this real estate category, they never bother to look at the catalog of state they are buying in...
Something like this can be valued by the investment found for 1 or 1.5 millions, and they put that much people's money into a parcel like this... I wonder what will happen when they try to sell? I guess I will find out in 20 or 30 years?
At least it was worth years and years of bonuses for the managers, if that is any comfort.

    M

    Appendix A:

Here, to sum up this discussion, and possibly kill it ...:

The Blind Men and the Elephant
    John Godfrey Saxe (1816-1887)

It was six men of Indostan
    To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
    That each by observation
    Might satisfy his mind.

    The First approached the Elephant,
    And happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
    At once began to bawl:
"God bless me! but the Elephant
    Is very like a WALL!"

The Second, feeling of the tusk,
Cried, "Ho, what have we here,
So very round and smooth and sharp?
    To me 'tis mighty clear
    This wonder of an Elephant
    Is very like a SPEAR!"

    The
    Third approached the animal,
    And happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
    Thus boldly up and spake:
"I see," quoth he, "the Elephant
    Is very like a SNAKE!"

The Fourth reached out an eager hand,
    And felt about the knee
"What most this wondrous beast is like
    Is mighty plain," quoth he:
    "'Tis clear enough the Elephant
    Is very like a TREE!"

    The
Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear,
    Said: "E'en the blindest man
    Can tell what this resembles most;
    Deny the fact who can,
    This marvel of an Elephant
    Is very like a FAN!"

The Sixth no sooner had begun
    About the beast to grope,
Than seizing on the swinging tail
    That fell within his scope,
"I see," quoth he, "the Elephant
    Is very like a ROPE!"

And so these men of Indostan
    Disputed loud and long,
    Each in his own opinion
    Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!
